HOMEOPATHY
The World Health Organization has cited homeopathy as one of the systems of traditional medicine that should be integrated worldwide with conventional medicine in order to provide adequate global health care.
Homeopathy (hom-e-op-a-thee) is a form of Complementary Alternative Medicine that can have a therapeutic effect on almost any disease or condition.  It is used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide.  It is particularly effective at treating chronic illnesses that fail to respond to conventional drug prescriptions.  As a Holistic form of health care, the aim of Homeopathy is not to diagnose or to medicate a symptom but instead to restore the immune system.  It uses remedies made from specially prepared nontoxic highly dilute doses of natural substances designed to stimulate the body's own healing mechanism.  In this way, Homeopathy supports the whole person; emotionally, mentally, as well as physically.
A Closer Look at HOMEOPATHY

"Homeopathy cures a larger percentage of cases than any other method of treatment and is beyond doubt safer and more economical and a most complete medical science."
-Mahatma Gandhi

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HOMEOPATHY?

Effective: has proved itself in supporting every conceivable type of health care situation in tens of millions of patients.

Safe: Is virtually non-toxic without drug residue, addiction or buildup of tolerance, even with long term use.

Scientific: Homeopathy is very scientific (actually more than mainstream medicine which relies strictly on theories of what is happening rather clinical observation).  For example, Viagra was theorized designed to relieve angina pain but had no actual results (but proved to be marketable in a whole other area…).  The study of homeopathic remedies is only through what is clinically reproducible and systematically observed.

Natural: Does not use synthetic substances. Relies on the healing properties inherent in plants, minerals, and even animal substances. These are used in their whole natural state, not as isolated chemicals.

Cost effective: Homeopathic medicines are remarkably inexpensive compared to regular drugs. They are not patented items, whose price can then be fixed at high levels by the manufacturer, without competition.

Family-based Medicine: Is ideal for children, the aged and in long-term treatment where there is very real concern about the toxicity and side effects of short and long-term drug use.

Non-suppressive: Many mainstream treatments weaken the immune system and neurological response by simply interfering with body processes. This suppression is known to cause deeper problems later on.

Non-invasive: Remedies act as catalysts, assisting all the body's natural processes, rather than interfering with natural functions. In this sense they are extremely gentle, rather than violent, respecting and preserving the intricate mechanisms of the biological systems.

Chronic  or Acute Prevention: Professional treatment can eliminate many potential chronic diseases before they begin, or can halt their progress in the earliest stages.
Integrative : Works in concert with regular medical care, or with the full range of alternative and complementary medicine, including nutrition.

Individuality: People have extremely wide variations from one another in their metabolism, biochemistry, reactions, and disease symptoms. Homeopathy uses a remedy that exactly fits a person's needs, rather than routinely using the same medicine in all cases of a particular illness.

Consistent: The same medicines have been used for over 200 years.

Constitutional change: Unlike any other known system of medicine, homeopathy can change fundamental, inherent weaknesses and susceptibilities on both a physical and psychological level.
